Peter Pan Inspired Surprise Party
Well it happened. As scheduled my sweet baby turned 6. Personally I would like to talk to the person who made the schedule because it is obviously moving a little fast for my taste!
To celebrate we had a surprise Peter Pan inspired party. I think the build up to the surprise might have been the best part. Or maybe it was the Peter Pan showing up? Actually I don’t know if I could pick a favorite but the food table is always a good place to start!!!
Some of the cutest things were also the easiest and simplest like the feather tied to the Sprite bottle!
Peter Pan stole the show a little when it came to the cake!
Outside you entered Neverland through our gate and were greeted by Peter’s shadow.
First up was Pirate Cove!
Mermaid Lagoon consisted of a waterfall and bubbles with a sack race to imitate being a mermaid!
We also had an Indian Camp where we made headbands but somehow I didn’t get a single picture of that!
Skull Rock had our pirate ship for photos!
Upon heading to Cannibal Cove you passed the Lost Boys Hide Out!
When you got to Cannibal Cove a drink station was first since we had made it all the way around the island we figured you might be thirsty!
After eating and presents we had cake and favors!
Inside the boxes were wooden crayons, mermaid water squirt toys, a telescope, pirate coins, a compass, candy, temporary tattoos and a wind up alligator.
All in all I think is was a success all pirates, fairies and lost boys went home with full bellies and ready for a nap. Now it is time for my nap!!!
