My Halloween party throw back is to my most favorite of Halloween parties so far! My husband and I picked out costumes and then kind of decorated around that LOL!
We have SO MANY Halloween decorations that I just kind of pick and choose and add in things specific to the theme if necessary at this point. In fact our favorite thing is to make our props for added fun pre-party.
We put out basic creepy decor in lots of black that I have picked up here and there. Alot of what I get comes from Target on clearance after Halloween!
I am almost certain all of this came from Target and the Dollar Tree!
Simple black netting from the Dollar Tree thrown over my big mirror looked really awesome and SO SIMPLE!
Again mostly things I picked up from Target over the years including the cardboard cupcake tray that looked AMAZING!
Some of this was already hanging around and just given a Halloween twist with a bony hand, some candy and a raven or two.
This was a plastic ram skull I picked up at Target that I just stuck in a wooden tray I had with some moss, lights, and fake blood.
A simple box I picket up in a thrift store turned Halloween decor one year by adding moss and one of those cheesy plastic hands from the Dollar Tree that I wrapped in gauze!
I kept the food and drinks really simple (this was the hardest part of this entire party as I like to go overboard in this area!)
Simple punch that we used as a base for a add your own liquor station!
Food consisted of chips, dips, spanakopita, chicken wings, bacon wrapped artichoke hearts, and caprese “eyeballs”.
We hired a couple of people for entertainment to spin some fire! Which was slightly terrifying for me as I was convinced they were gonna catch themselves on fire but the did a great job entertaining us and not getting rushing to a hospital!
As the party wound down Nathan lost his makeup and gained a guitar 🙂
Some of the party goers really got into their costumes!!!
All in all we had a blast at our 2016 Halloween Party!!! Do you have big plans for Halloween this year? We are going to take it easy as our daughter’s birthday party is going to be a costume party but for next year I have big things brewing!!!!
