St. Patrick’s Day treats are a fun thing I like to make with my kids. Now let me be the first to say that normally cooking/baking with my kids is EXTREMELY stressful to me. I may or may not be a control freak.
However, for whatever reason St. Patrick’s Day treats just seem easy and fun to do with them instead of for them! The availability of finding cute holiday goodies is so much easier these days with Pinterest! Before Pinterest I would scour women’s magazines and parenting magazines for cute ideas and dutifully clip and save the articles that turned out. Thank goodness somebody found a way to make all of that fit in my phone, tablet or laptop! Can I get an Amen?!?!?!
This year we chose a simple Oreo we upgraded to Leprechaun Cookies and a fruit tray turned rainbow to appease everyone’s sweet tooth! Come follow along on my St. Patrick’s Day board for even more ideas and fun treats.
For our Leprechaun Cookies we simply heated up yellow candy melts and I let my mini me have at it with dipping and sprinkling them with colored sugar. I think he might have enjoyed his job a little bit!
The Rainbow fruit tray was a hit I mean who doesn’t like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?!?!?! Fruit, marshmallows, and Rolo candy helped this come together SUPER quick!
Come follow me on Pinterest to check out my food boards…cause well FOOD ya’ll.
